Built-In Marketing

1.jpgYou may think that major marketers now consider the web as the way or tool to success with the way commercial web is getting much attention. But according to research, a lot of marketing consumers still can not differentiate a website, an ad or a brochure. Although well known retailers like Circuit City, Nordstrom, Wal-Mart and Lowes have an idea about it, still, others seem not to get it. As an example, when Gap Clothing came out with its newest television commercial, its website was replaced with a single page that says “Under Construction” for a number of weeks. It gave a notion that there is no planning. Not even a built-in marketing.
