The law practice has been one of the biggest part in the labor force. In the early 60s, a significant large number of students became attracted to the study and practice of law. The number of lawyers in the US increased by 33%, between 1960 and 1970, after a growth of just 10% in the decade before that. Responsible for the increase were the social legislation and expanding scope of government regulations and judicial rulings that came into effect. Until today, the number of lawyers keep increasing.
